Terms
These Terms govern your use of kassanto.com (the “Site”) and your interactions with the Kassanto payment and checkout platform (the “Service”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About Kassanto
Kassanto is a payment and checkout technology platform operating in Malaysia. We provide the technology that businesses (“Merchants”) use to accept payments. Kassanto is not the seller of any goods or services you purchase, and is not a party to the contract between you and a Merchant.
2. Payments and your purchase
When you pay at a store powered by Kassanto, your purchase contract is with the Merchant, not Kassanto. Your payment is processed securely over Malaysia's national payment rails (FPX and DuitNow) and licensed banks, through our payment providers.
“Kassanto” — or “KASSANTO* <store name>” — may appear at checkout and on your bank or card statement to show that the payment was processed by Kassanto on behalf of that Merchant. Your money is settled to the Merchant.
Refunds, returns, delivery, and product issues are handled by the Merchant under their own terms. If you need help identifying a payment, contact support@kassanto.com with the amount, date, and store.
3. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful, informational purposes only. You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it or any related systems, or use it in any way that breaches applicable law.
4. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including the “Kassanto” name, logo, and the “k.” mark — are owned by Kassanto or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party names and logos, such as those of payment providers and methods, are the property of their respective owners and are shown for identification only.
5. No warranty
The Site and its information are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kassanto is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Malaysian law.
7. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party payment providers, and the Site may reference or link to third parties. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of third parties; their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of their services.
8. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
